My name is Sadyn Angeles and I have just finished watching Dark Shadows. Starring actors such as Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer and Eva Green. I expected the film to be more preferable to my imagination. During the movie I felt like that plot was going else where and I felt I didn't really know the characters. The comic relief wasn't really helping the serious moments. Even though Johnny Depp is an AMAZING actor and can basically play any role that given to him, this role in particular seemed like many other of his roles. To be honest if this movie did not have an incredible cast, it would have bombed in the box office. I give Dark Shadows a 2 out of 5.

Good morning people we are back with our actor of the day..... Today's actor is Daniel Day Lewis!!!! We at Urban Film Reel have been debating who the greatest actors of all time are to compose a list for you guys.  There are two things that have never happened: Keeanu Reeves has never been in the duscussion and Daniel Day Lewis has never dropped out of the top 5. We don't know what else to say but that he is the perfect actor. Not only is he dedicated to his roles like no other but he is the ultimate professional. The first any of us bared his face was in "There will be blood" where he delivered one of the best performances we have ever seen and picked up an Oscar for it. It compelled us to go back through his career to only be wowed and discover another Oscar performance in "My left foot" He began his career in 1982 playing a street thug in "Ghandi" he since then has been absolutely amazing and a standard for what an actor should be like. Here's to you DDL.... Be sure to check out his films like There will be blood, My left foot, In the name of the father and Gangs of New York. Hello everybody!!! We are back with our second review and it is going to be of the new smash alien hit..... PROMETHEUS!!!!!!  Now we think it is very important that we start off by telling anyone who does not know that Prometheus is the prequel to Alien. We state this because a couple of the members here watched the whole movie with out knowing this. Now here is our review.... It was okay. Now everyone here was absolutely blown away by the Prometheus trailer. It is good to have an exciting trailer but sometimes this can lead to disappointment. Prometheus was one of those cases. The movie at many points confuses itself. Not in the sense that the plot is complex but in the sense that the characters don't often stick to their emotions. Alot of the major sequences in the film seem premature and not hyped up enough. Also there are some scenes that just don't need to be there. Now we don't like spoil scenes in our reviews but like we said this scene was not important. There is a scene where Idris Alba's character hits on Charlize Theron's character. This is added for no reason as the characters never even make eye contact with each other again. Also he got inside her pants by asking if she was a robot. Yea pick up lines just get weirder and weirder. Also the comedic lines don't really hit. The funniest parts are the scenes where someone is either running or screaming in terror.Maybe we're just sick in the head. But now on to the good stuff and by good stuff we mean good guy. Michael Fassbender who plays a cyborg in the film is amazing. Michael Fassbender shows us why he is a rising leading man and a man with great talent. From his posture to his ability to balance charm and discomfort he is amazing. Also strong performances from Idris Alba and Noomi rapace. The visuals were also strong as well. In the end we give Prometheus a 2.4 out of 5.
