We are back!!! sorry for the long hiatus folks. last time on here we promised our first ever movie review and it will be of The Avengers.By now most people in the U.S...correction most people in the world have seen The Avengers. We caught it opening weekend and here's our review........ It is great. Now usually we don't enjoy movies based on so much action but this is different. The script writing for the avengers is amazing. Josh Wedon and his team weaved together the character's personalities perfectly. They matched the comedic ability to each actor in a way that would make Woody Allen stand and applaud. Not only did it have some of the best CGI and special effects work i have ever seen it is also a movie that can lean on its star cast and good directing at times. They were even able to make  Hulk not only a show stopper but also a movie bad ass in our opinion. Every character is given their time to shine and the actors knocked it out of the park. Actors such as Robert Downey J.r, Chris evans, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo execute perfectly along with some of the lesser characters. As for Loki(Tom Hiddleston) he didn't seem to be as much of a threat as he was in Thor but, after seeing Thanos after the credits it put things in perspective as too why he wasn't as dominate. Great special effects, comedic execution, good directing and the best action sequence i have ever seen all culminate to make this a flagpole in the super hero genre that has suffered for a long time. We give this film a 4.2 out of 5.

Today's Movie of the day is..... Mystic River. The 2003 drama film followed three long time friends who had lost touch over the years but are brought back together as a result of one the characters daughters being murdered. This is one of our favorites and post some of the best overall cast acting ever. The film was nominated for 6 Oscars including best picture, best director and best actor. The film garnered Sean Penn and Tim Robbins an Oscar each. The first of both of their career. Above is one of the best scenes from the film and some of the great acting that won Sean Penn the Oscar he so rightfully deserved.
